The front of the card features a restored version of Carl Bloch’s evocative “Christ Consolator,” which shows the merciful Jesus with arms outstretched, the hope of the poor and of all sinners. The back includes the famous “Prayer of Abandonment” by St. Charles de Foucauld, who was canonized in 2022: Father, I abandon myself into Your hands; do with me what You will.
