Description Product Description The Aquaseal Wet Room System is designed to provide a permanently flexible watertight membrane prior to tiling in areas such as showers, wet rooms, wet zones in bathrooms and other tiled areas subject to water exposure such as balconies and partially covered external areas. The Aquaseal Wet Room System consists of a primer, tanking tape, tanking membrane and drain mat and is based on tried and tested wet room tanking principles used in areas such as Scandinavia and Germany where wet rooms have been common for many years. Tested to BS/EN 14891 Areas for Use For showers, wet rooms and wet zones in bathrooms Use on all board joints, corners & pipe entries. Waterproofing prior to tiling. For use on plasterboard, MDF, concrete, wet room boards, plywood etc. Surface Preparation All surfaces must be clean sound and dust free. Application The LARGE Aquaseal Wet Room System is a Waterproof Tanking Kit that contains all you need to waterproof 7.5 square metres. The STANDARD Aquaseal Wet Room System is a Waterproof Tanking Kit that contains all you need to waterproof 4.5 square metres. BOTH kits consists of the following products: Aquaseal Waterproof Tanking Primer (1L) – For use before applying Tanking Membrane & Tanking Tape. Aquaseal Waterproof Tanking Membrane (3LTR – Standard, 5LTR – Large) – Forms a permanently flexible watertight membrane, applied by brush, two coats. Aquaseal Waterproof Tanking Tape (5MTR – Standard, 10MTR – Large) – Self adhesive joint & corner sealing tape. Easy to apply with pre-cut release liner. Aquaseal Waterproof Tanking Drain Mat – Self adhesive butyl backed fleece, capable of coping with movement around the drain outlet. Aquaseal Wet Room System User Leaflet The tape can be over coated with Aquaseal Waterproof Tanking Membrane immediately after application.
